Dr. Fatima Alleyne, President, Contra Costa County Board of Education
DWJ Public Policy Fellow, Dr. Fatima Alleyne was cited by her colleagues on December 13, 2017 to serve as President of the Contra Costa County Board of Education.
President Alleyne is the first African American woman to hold such position. She plans to use this opportunity to continue her work advocating to ensure Contra Costa families have access to quality public education. Her term as President was effective immediately.
