It Takes A Village
Black Women Organized For Political Action (BWOPA) is excited to partner with the California African American Chamber of Commerce as part of its state-wide coordinated Black&Vaxxed initiative.
Join us on Wed, Dec. 15th, 6 - 7:30pm to virtually engage in “It Takes a Village - A Conversation on the Business and Politics of the Pandemic”. Zoom link: https://bit.ly/BVVillage
The Black & Vaxxed initiative aims to educate and create awareness throughout our state and encourage our community of families to get vaccinated! This virtual event will include a panel discussion, testimonials, resources, and an update on COVID in California. The goal is to inform participants and explore how to support leaders in the business and elected communities as we move toward healing in our land.
Since 1968, BWOPA has understood the need for Black women to be involved in the political process at every level. That understanding has guided decades of civic engagement, the election of many qualified candidates, and the advancement of numerous community initiatives – COVID-19 is one of the most severe issues we've faced.
This is a crucial time, and the time is now to get this right. Together, we can make a difference in the world.
