California Black Women's Collective is a coalition of Black Women throughout California…connecting North, South, Central, East and West. Our goal is to amplify our powerful voice and show our collective strength in the political process as we build a bench. We are a collective of intergenerational sisters who bring a span of expertise in politics, community activations, collaboration, social justice, business, faith, and beyond. This effort is for Black-women only…and we come together in our personal capacities to stand united in support of Black women in California.
My Black Counts is a campaign of the California Black Census and Redistricting Hub (the Black Hub), which is a project of California Calls. MBC is a partner network of over 30 Black-led and Black-serving organizations across the state of California. Our campaign reaches into the households and communities that will be the most impacted by the 2020 census and redistricting process. MBC's goal is to ensure Black residents receive accurate, timely, and reliable information to understand the importance of the 2020 census and redistricting processes.

Photography Competing to Raise Support's mission is to aid organizations that serve the needs of women and women of color especially, through garnering support and informing a wider audience of the organizations’ goals. Additionally, we aim to showcase creative images that convey the annual theme, which always relates to empowerment and freedom. We hope that in unifying these efforts we can achieve the goals of the organizations we cherish and encourage the creation of art and photography that promote social awareness and healing.
