For generations, Black Americans have organized, marched, advocated, and sacrificed to secure and protect the fundamental right to vote. Today, we honor that legacy by ensuring our communities remain informed, engaged, and empowered to participate in every election.
Building Black Civic Power—Together is a statewide, nonpartisan voter education and outreach initiative that brings together Black-led, Black-serving, faith-based, civic, labor, business, youth, and like-minded organizations around one shared purpose: strengthening civic participation across California.
We believe our greatest strength lies in collaboration. When organizations work together—sharing resources, amplifying trusted information, and coordinating community outreach—we extend our reach, strengthen our collective voice, and create lasting impact.
Together our role is to educate, engage, and mobilize communities through trusted partnerships, coordinated outreach, and accessible voter education that empowers every eligible voter to confidently participate in our democracy.
