Black Women have stood in the forefront of every political battle, particularly in California. We have led the fight for equity that many benefit from today. Unfortunately, we are not experiencing the fruits of our labor on many different fronts. Education is one of the most concerning.

Our children are failing.

As Black Women Leaders, Mothers, Grandmothers, Caregivers and Registered Voters, we have some questions! So #Sistallect, #CaliforniaBlackMedia, Black Women Organized for Political Action (#BWOPA) and some powerhouse Black Women Leaders from throughout the state came together to host a forum for the Superintendent for Public Instruction race with the two candidates – @TonyThurmond and @MarshallTuck.
